Dr. Amir Hassan graduated from Clements High School, and went on to attend Texas A&M University, where he obtained a bachelors of science in biology. He went on to receive his DDS degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. He then completed an advanced education in general dentistry program at UCLA, where he received training in oral conscious sedation, implant placement and restoration, periodontal surgeries, removal of third molars, Invisalign, full mouth reconstruction, and other advanced procedures.
He continues to learn the latest advancements in dentistry by taking multiple continuing education courses in all aspects of dentistry. By completing over 500 hours of continuing education and passing a rigorous exam, he has obtained a fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry. He has currently completed over 1200 hours of continuing education and is pursuing associate fellowship in the American Academy of Implant Dentistry and mastership in the Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. Hassan is also very involved in the dental and healthcare community. He has participated in multiple Texas Missions of Mercy events, where he provided free dental care for people with limited resources. He is involved with the health board in his religious community, where he helps with screening the elderly for blood sugar and pressure problems. After 4 years of practice, he is excited to be back in his hometown to serve the Sugar Land community. His wife is currently finishing dental school in Washington D.C. and plans on joining the practice in 2020. He enjoys traveling, working out, and watching Houston and Texas A&M sports.
