Samuel E. Cress, D.D.S., of Colony Dental in Sugar Land, TX and Director of The Center for Craniofacial & Dental Sleep Medicine also located in Sugar Land, Texas, received his Bachelor of Arts Degree from Austin College in Sherman, Texas. He completed his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Texas Health Science Center, San Antonio, Dental Branch and his residency in Dental Sleep Medicine at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston.
In addition to his Sugar Land based practice specializing in dental sleep medicine and cosmetic and general dentistry, Dr. Cress is a clinical instructor in the prestigious Dr. Dick Barnes Group where he teaches other dentists the benefits and applications of Day Nighttime Appliance (DNA) Therapy for patients suffering from Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA). He has successfully treated OSA patients with DNA Therapy and is a featured speaker at industry conferences and educational seminars. Dr. Cress pursues ongoing advanced education in the field of Dental Sleep Medicine and is a Certified Instructor of the DNA Appliance™ System.
Dr. Cress is a member of the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, American Academy of Craniofacial Pain, American and Texas Dental Associations, the Academy of General Dentistry and the Greater Houston Dental Society. Dr. Cress has been in private practice in Sugar Land, Texas for 18 years serving the Greater Houston area. Dr. Cress, and his wife, Kimberly Cress. M.D., director of the TMS Serenity Center, share their life with their son, Carter.
